In this visually stunning series, photographer Meeri Koutaniemi takes the audience from the art-immersed marshes to museum grand halls. Along her journey, she meets eight Finnish visual artists who reveal how they work, think, and why they create art. Each episode is based on a Finnish classic work of art and explores the temporal bridge between ‘Taistelevat metsot’ (Struggling Capercaillies) and street art. The episodes culminate in the collaborative design and creation of a portrait.
